Ihskas Foundation has recently launched a groundbreaking initiative aimed at empowering women in rural areas through skill development programs. This initiative, spearheaded by founder and CEO Satyam Singh, commenced on June 22, 2021, and is focused on providing women with the necessary skills to achieve economic independence and improve their quality of life.
The skill development programs are being implemented in Dindaspur, Jansa, Bazar Varanasi, and encompass a wide range of vocational training, including tailoring, handicrafts, computer literacy, and small-scale entrepreneurship. Harshit Mishra and Shivam Mishra, key members of the foundation, have been pivotal in organizing and facilitating these programs.
“Our goal is to empower women by equipping them with skills that can lead to sustainable livelihoods,” said Satyam Singh. “By providing training and resources, we aim to foster economic independence and confidence among women in rural communities.”
Participants in these programs are provided with hands-on training, mentorship, and the tools they need to start their own businesses or secure employment. The initiative not only focuses on skill acquisition but also emphasizes financial literacy and market linkages to ensure the long-term success of the participants.
Ihskas Foundation’s commitment to transparency ensures that donors are kept informed about the progress and impact of their contributions. The foundation provides regular updates through photogenic proof, video conferencing, and GPS location updates.
This skill development initiative aligns with Ihskas Foundation’s mission to create a positive social impact by empowering underserved communities. By investing in women’s skill development, the foundation is fostering a future where women can contribute to and thrive in their communities.
