With Salaar, PAN India star Prabhas returned to form. The action drama directed by Prasanth Neel was a smashing hit at the ticket windows, collecting more than 600 crores gross. The Telugu, Kannada, Tamil, and Malayalam versions of Salaar are already available for streaming on Netflix.
Now, the Hindi dubbed version has made its OTT debut on Disney Plus Hotstar nearly two months after its release. As per the decision taken by the Multiplex Associations, any Hindi film (Hindi dubbed films, too) won’t be released in national chains (PVR, Inox, and Cinepolis) if it releases on OTT before 8 weeks of theatrical release.
Hindi version of Salaar is now streaming on Disney Plus Hotstar
As the Hindi market was important for Salaar, the makers didn’t opt for an early OTT release for the Hindi version. The dubbed version did extremely well, earning around 150 crores net despite clashing with King Khan’s Dunki. Prithviraj Sukumaran played an important role in this action drama.
Yesterday, the news broke out that December 21 movie Dunki, starring Shah Rukh Khan, is currently accessible for watching on OTT. Netflix is currently streaming the film directed by Rajkumar Hirani. Netflix announced the movie’s digital release on Valentine’s Day by sharing the poster on its official Instagram account. Netflix India stated, “Pack your bags! After a Dunki around the world, SRK is coming home. Dunki, now streaming on Netflix!”.
