Pixie by SKS has launched a comprehensive community outreach program in Salem. This initiative aims to educate and engage local communities in proactive early childhood care, focusing on developmental health and preventive measures.
Founded by Dr. Dhavashree. V, Pixie by SKS has been at the forefront of early childhood intervention since 2016. The new outreach program is designed to extend the clinic’s expertise beyond its doors and directly into the community it serves. “Our mission is to ensure that every child in Salem has the opportunity to achieve optimal health and developmental milestones,” explained Dr. Dhavashree. “Through this program, we are reaching out to parents, caregivers, and educators to spread knowledge and resources that can make a significant difference.”
The community outreach includes free developmental screening camps, workshops for parents on nutrition and developmental activities, and training sessions for local health workers. These activities are geared toward identifying developmental delays early and providing the necessary interventions swiftly and efficiently.
Moreover, Pixie by SKS plans to collaborate with local NGOs and government bodies to widen the scope of these services, ensuring that no child is left behind due to lack of information or resources. “By partnering with other organizations, we can create a robust support network that is capable of transforming our community’s approach to early childhood health,” Dr. Dhavashree stated.
