After a seven-year hiatus, Riteish Deshmukh, Vivek Oberoi, and Aftab Shivdasani will reunite for the much-awaited film Masti 4.
According to filmmaker Milap Zaveri, who is expected to take over as director, the movie Masti 4 will begin production this summer and will go back to its origins.
The film is supposed to combine the leads’ charming mischievousness with the same level of humor. On Thursday, the film’s creators also presented the logo in conjunction with the announcement.
Talking about the film, Milap said, “20 years ago I had the honour of meeting the Legendary Indra Kumar sir and Ashok Thakeria sir to narrate #Masti along with my partner @tusharhiranandani 20 years later I’ve gotten the honour and privilege to Direct #Masti4 Humbled and grateful that Induji has entrusted the directorial reins of his super hit franchise to me. Thanks to Amar Jhunjhunwala sir, @shikhab4u and @wavebandproduction for showing faith in me and joining this franchise as producers.”
Appreciating Aftab, Vivek and Riteish, Milap said, “Such a pleasure working with them. Following its enormous financial success upon its 2004 release, Masti underwent a reboot for its first two sequels, Grand Masti and Great Grand Masti.
Indra Kumar, A. Jhunjhunwala, Ashok Thakeria, and S. K. Ahluwalia are the producers of Masti 4. The movie promises to relive the spirit of the original picture while setting out on a brand-new journey full of romance, humour, and misadventures.
