Toyota has announced that on April 3, 2024, the Urban Cruiser Taisor would make its Indian premiere. The Taisor, which is essentially the Maruti Suzuki Fronx rebranded, will have some modest internal and external cosmetic changes. There is a great deal of excitement surrounding the unveiling even though Toyota has not yet disclosed official specs.
Good news: Toyota Urban Cruiser Taisor to launch in India on April 3
Following the success of the Glanza, the previous Urban Cruiser, Hyryder, and the Rumion, the Toyota Urban Cruiser Taisor is the fifth collaboration between the two firms. Toyota is counting on the Taisor to increase sales in India because of Fronx’s continued appeal.
Based on the former Vitara Brezza model, the prior Urban Cruiser will be replaced by the Taisor. Expected design similarities with the Fronx include minor variations in the front grille, bumpers, and possibly the lighting. Toyota might provide additional paint variations.
The interior of the vehicle is still configured with the same features as before, including a 6-speaker music system, a head-up display, a 360-degree camera, linked car technology, automatic climate control, quick USB charging ports, speech recognition, and more.
The higher-end Taisor models will come equipped with additional safety features like ISOFIX child mounts, hill-hold assist control, six airbags, ESP, and three-point seat belts for every passenger.
The Taisor manual is predicted to score about 21.79 kmpl, while the AMT should deliver 22.89 kmpl, based on ARAI data for the Maruti Suzuki Fronx. The turbo-petrol engine’s manual version is expected to get about 21.5 km/l, while the automatic is predicted to get about 20.01 km/l.
