Drunk Man Harasses Woman
Another disturbing case of street harassment has surfaced from the heart of Delhi. On Tuesday night (April 8), a woman identified as Bhawna Sharma was allegedly harassed by a drunk man near Shivaji Enclave Market, leaving her shaken but determined to seek justice.

The unsettling incident happened around 9 PM as Sharma was walking home. Out of nowhere, a man dressed in a white shirt and casual pants approached her from behind and placed his hands on her arms, violating her personal space and sense of safety.
Sharma, still in shock, confronted the man, asking, “What are you doing?” But instead of fleeing or apologizing, the man remained indifferent, showing no signs of guilt or fear. He sat casually on the roadside, smoking, as if nothing had happened.

Not one to stay silent, Sharma documented the encounter on video, uploading it to Instagram under the title “Molester Alert”. The footage showed the accused lounging by parked cars, unfazed even as she confronted him with a camera. “He had no fear at all,” she shared. “When I started recording, his attitude was — ‘Do whatever you want, I’ll go to jail and come back. For him, jail is like a short trip to his village.’”

Braving the shock, Sharma immediately went to the nearby police station and filed a complaint against the man, highlighting a sad but all-too-common reality: predators on the streets are growing bolder, often undeterred by legal consequences.

Sadly, this wasn’t an isolated incident that night. In another alarming case reported the same day, a married couple faced harassment on the roads of Delhi when two bikers allegedly teased and inappropriately touched the woman before speeding away toward National Highway 24, leaving the couple stunned and helpless.

These back-to-back cases underline the urgent need for stronger street safety and accountability — and the courage of survivors like Sharma, who refuse to stay silent.
