The same 373cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine seen in the Bajaj Dominar 400 and KTM RC 390 powers the potent Pulsar variant. This engine produces 35 Nm of torque and 39.4 horsepower. It is mated to a 6-speed gearbox with a slip-and-assist clutch. The Bajaj Pulsar NS400Z has a maximum speed of 154 km/h and a gasoline tank capacity of 12 liters. It weighs approximately 174 kg.

NS400Z has a 43mm inverted fork with a unique gold finish, and a gas-charged monoshock. It chooses a box-section swingarm over the aluminum unit found in the Dominar 400, which helps to improve handling dynamics and stability. A 320mm front disc and a 220mm rear disc make up the braking system. With dual-channel ABS as standard, this streetfighter prioritizes rider safety and performance. It rolls on 17-inch alloy wheels.
