BMW introduces updated M4 Competition in India
BMW has formally released the updated M4 Competition, marking its entrance in the Indian market following its global introduction earlier in January 2024. At an ex-showroom price of Rs 1.53 crore, the new high-performance coupe is priced around Rs 5 lakh higher than its predecessor.

The updated BMW M4 comes up with a few small changes in its appearance. It features redesigned tail lights with Laser light guides, which were first seen on the M4 CSL, and new headlights with distinct daytime running lights (DRLs).

The car’s interior has only undergone minor design adjustments. A new flat-bottomed steering wheel has been installed. Updated software is now available for the large 14.9-inch touchscreen in the center and the 12.3-inch digital display behind the steering wheel.

There are other adjustments made underneath. With a 3.0-liter twin-turbo in-line engine, the M4’s output has increased by 20 horsepower over its predecessor. This maintains the torque output at 650 Nm while increasing the overall power output to 523 bhp.

BMW’s M xDrive all-wheel-drive system, when combined with an 8-speed automatic transmission, distributes power to all four wheels. The acceleration time from 0 to 100 kilometers per hour stays at 3.5 seconds in spite of the power boost.

Many updates that improve performance and comfort are included with the BMW M4 Competition. A large 14.9-inch touchscreen, a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, M sport seats, active seat ventilation, 3-zone climate control, adaptive LED headlights, and M adaptive suspension are some of the features that come standard.

The car also has a heads-up display, a reversing aid, and a rear-view camera for enhanced convenience and security. The M4 may be further customized with optional features including carbon bucket seats, 360-degree cameras, BMW Driving Assistant Professional, and M carbon ceramic brakes. These additions let customers customize their driving experience to suit their needs and preferences.
