The pre-marriage celebrations for Anant Ambani, the youngest son of Reliance Industries Chairman Mukesh Ambani, and Radhika Merchant, the daughter of industrialist Viren Merchant, have commenced with ‘anna seva’.
In order to obtain the blessings of the community for Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s pre-wedding ceremonies, the Ambani family has arranged an ‘anna seva’.
At the pre-wedding event on Wednesday at the Jogwad village near Reliance Township in Jamnagar, director of the Reliance Foundation Anant Ambani and his fiancé Radhika Merchant served traditional Gujarati food to the people during Anna Seva.
Following dinner, the guests were introduced to traditional folk music. Kirtidan Gadhvi, a well-known singer from Gujarat, dominated the evening with his vocals. The Ambani family has a long-standing custom of sharing meals. Food has always been served by the Ambani family on major family occasions. Under the direction of Anant Ambani’s mother Nita Ambani, the Reliance Foundation managed a significant food distribution operation during the coronavirus outbreak.
Following in the family’s footsteps, Anant Ambani began his pre-wedding events with Anna Seva. It is anticipated that the pre-wedding events will be elegant and traditional. During the pre-wedding celebrations, guests will get the opportunity to witness the splendor of Indian culture. The celebrations are slated for March 1-3, and invited guests include Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg, Microsoft founder Bill Gates, Morgan Stanley CEO Ted Pick, Disney CEO Bob Iger, BlackRock CEO Larry Fink, Adnoc CEO Sultan Ahmed Al Jaber, EL Rothschild chairperson Lynn Forester de Rothschild and others.
