Social media users are talking about an image of a Zomato agent taking orders on a wheelchair that looks like a motorcycle. The now-viral photo, which was shared on X by user Naraayan Kannan, is touching people’s emotions and even inspired CEO Deepinder Goyal to repost it.
The photo shows a happy, specially-abled delivery agent sitting on his creative wheelchair.
Along with the picture, the caption reads, “Dear @zomato & @deepigoyal More of this please. Best thing I’ve seen in a very long time from your company. Despite the errant drivers who have made life hell on the roads this is a special moment. This is as inclusive as it gets. His story is fascinating. Bravo!”
The image has received 18000 views on X since it was uploaded, and online users have responded in a variety of ways.
‘NeoMotion’ is the name of the firm that made the wheelchair. Goyal revealed last year that Zomato had teamed up with ‘NeoMotion’. Goyal stated on X that each of these unique delivery vehicles is tailored to meet the delivery partner’s needs. This guarantees the partner a high level of comfort, mobility, and flexibility. Also, the wheel chairs are environmentally beneficial because they run on electricity.
