Agra Woman Seeks Divorce
In an unusual turn of events, a woman from Agra has sought a divorce from her husband over a rather peculiar issue—her daily supply of bindis.
The woman, who loved adorning different bindis every day, was left frustrated when her husband refused to fulfill her demand, citing financial constraints. Initially, he provided her with seven bindis per week, but after she argued that they often fell off, he increased the number to 30-35. However, this still didn’t satisfy her.

The disagreement escalated to the point where the woman packed her bags and returned to her maternal home, determined to end the marriage. The matter came to the attention of the local police, who referred the couple to a family counselling centre.
Dr. Amit Gaud, a counsellor handling the case, revealed that the husband even resorted to counting bindis before giving them to his wife, leading to constant arguments.

Interestingly, this isn’t the first bizarre marital dispute to surface from Agra. In another case, a woman filed a police complaint against her husband after he forgot to bring her momos. The issue was later resolved through counselling, with the husband agreeing to buy momos for her twice a week.
