The legendary former Indian cricket captain and motorhead extraordinaire has turned heads yet again by giving his beloved beast a patriotic twist. Originally purchased back in 2009 from American auto giant General Motors, the powerful H2 has now received a striking makeover that pays tribute to the Indian Armed Forces, a cause that’s close to Dhoni’s heart.
A Tribute on Wheels
The custom job, carried out by a Ranchi-based car detailing studio, features eye-popping graphics of fighter helicopters, soldiers in action, tanks, and aircraft, essentially transforming the SUV into a rolling salute to the Indian Army. The studio’s founder, Achyut Kishore, shared that Dhoni himself requested the army-themed design, ensuring every detail reflects his admiration for the forces.

This makeover isn’t just about aesthetics rather it’s personal. Dhoni’s love and respect for the armed forces is widely known. Honoured with the title of Lieutenant Colonel in the Territorial Army in 2011, he has trained with the elite Para Forces and even performed parachute jumps. During the 2019 ICC World Cup, he famously sported gloves bearing the ‘Balidaan Badge’, the emblem of the Para Special Forces as a powerful gesture of respect.
