On February 18, Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone presented the prize for best non-English film at the 77th British Academy Film Awards (BAFTA) in London’s Royal Festival Hall. She was completely stunning in a sari by Sabyasachi couture and handcrafted jewelry.
The Fighter actress emphasized in her statement that the category celebrates amazing stories that portray both real and imagined worlds and have a lasting effect on the audience. Director-screenwriter Jonathan Glazer won the prize for his historical drama film The Zone of Interest, which was released in 2023 in Poland. Twenty Days in Mariupol, Anatomy of a Fall, Past Lives, and Society of the Snow were among the other nominees in the same category.
Deepika posted images of her stunning outfit on Instagram. The 38-year-old actress caught eyes when she wore a strapless blouse with a golden sequined sari. Her style was complemented with simple earrings, a disheveled bun, and subtle makeup that included a hint of kohl.

Regarding her professional trajectory, the actress will play the lead role in Nag Ashwin’s epic science fiction picture Kalki 2898 AD, which is slated to open in theatres on May 9, Prabhas is also a part of it. In addition, Deepika will be a part of Rohit Shetty’s Cop Universe series in Singham Again, the thrilling follow-up to the 2014 action film Singham Returns. The Jawan actress will appear on screen alongside Tiger Shroff, Ranveer Singh, Jackie Shroff, Ajay Devgn, Kareena Kapoor Khan, and Arjun Kapoor in the movie.
In India, Lionsgate Play is offering BAFTA awards 2024 for streaming, which is hosted by Scottish actor David Tennant.
