On Wednesday, February 28, former New Zealand Test captain Kane Williamson and his wife Sarah welcomed their third child, a baby girl. The daughter and son that the couple already had were born in 2020 and 2022, respectively.
In order to be with his wife for the birth of their third kid, Williamson stepped down from the just finished T20I series against Australia. The talisman batter from New Zealand said thanks to his followers on Instagram and shared the wonderful news about his daughter’s safe birth.
Williamson took to Instagram and wrote, “And then there was 3. Welcome to the world beautiful Girl. So grateful for your safe arrival and the exciting journey ahead.”
After starting dating in 2015, Kane Williamson and Sarah Raheem are said to not be married yet. Maggie, their first child, was born in December 2020. In May 2022, a few years later, Williamson and his spouse welcomed a son into the world.
Kane Williamson left Sunrisers Hyderabad’s bio-bubble to welcome his second kid and withdrew from the remaining IPL 2022 matches.
For the two-match Test series against Australia, which begins on February 29 at Basin Reserve in Wellington, Kane Williamson is anticipated to make a comeback.
During the two-match Test series at home against South Africa, Williamson was in outstanding form. The 33-year-old became the fifth player from New Zealand to score two hundreds in a Test match, following Glen Turner, Geoff Howarth, Andrew Jones, and Peter Fulton. His accomplishment was achieved in the first Test. Kane Williamson broke the record for the fastest player to score 32 hundreds in the format during the second Test of 172 innings. With 32 Test hundreds, he eclipsed Australia’s legendary batsman Steve Smith’s record of 174 innings.
