Hero Launches Special Karizma Centennial Edition
Hero has introduced a special Centennial Edition of the Karizma bike, limited to just 100 units. This exclusive edition is available only through an auction for Hero’s employees, associates, and business partners. It honors Dr. Brijmohan Lall Munjal on his 101st birth anniversary. Deliveries will start in September 2024, and the auction proceeds will go towards social welfare projects.

The Centennial Edition, based on the Hero Karizma XMR, comes with unique features. It has a quarter-fairing and carbon fibre body panels, making it stand out. It also includes billet-machined parts like the swingarm, handlebar, and footpegs. The bike has 17-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels and is 5.5 kg lighter than the standard Karizma XMR.

It retains the powerful 210cc engine, producing 25.5bhp and 20.4Nm of torque, with a 6-speed gearbox and a slip-and-assist clutch for smooth riding.

In April 2024, Hero MotoCorp started delivering its new flagship bike, the Maverick 440, in India. The Maverick 440 is a middle-weight bike made on the same platform as the Harley-Davidson X 440. It has three variants: Base (Rs 1.99 lakh), Mid (Rs 2.14 lakh), and Top (Rs 2.24 lakh), all ex-showroom prices.

The Maverick 440 features a 440cc single-cylinder engine, cooled by both air and oil, with a 6-speed gearbox and a slip-and-assist clutch. It shares its engine with the Harley-Davidson X 440, offering 27bhp and 36Nm of peak torque.
