Ford Returns to India
Ford Motor Company is planning to reopen its manufacturing plant in Tamil Nadu, India, for export purposes, marking a potential re-entry into a market it exited three years ago. The company announced this development on Friday, stating that it has submitted a letter of intent to the Tamil Nadu government. This comes just two days after the state’s chief minister revealed ongoing discussions with Ford about restarting production for exports.
