Following many rumours that Bachchan had undergone an angioplasty treatment for either a leg clot or a clogged artery, worried fans took to social media on Friday to inquire about the megastar’s health.

Hours after rumours of his hospital visit began to circulate, Amitabh Bachchan and his son Abhishek were pictured at the Dadoji Kondadev Stadium in Thane during the Indian Street Premier League (ISPL) final game between Majhi Mumbai and Tigers of Kolkata in the evening.

In a video that has gone viral on social media, Bachchan is seen leaving the stadium when a fan inquires about his health. At first, the actor is seen making hand gestures to indicate that everything is alright. The person then asked him, “How are you? All fine?” to which Bachchan said, ‘Fake news.’
During the afternoon, there were rumours stating that he had visited Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital for a usual examination. Some said he was admitted to the hospital for an angioplasty, a balloon treatment used to clear clogged blood vessels and arteries, in order to relieve a blockage in his leg. Furthermore, according to some, he underwent an angioplasty to clear a clogged artery.
However, there were no confirmation from either the hospital or from Amitabh Bachchan’s office.
